The Company of Thomas Ward & Sons Ltd was founded by Thomas Watkins Ward and his three brothers in the 1920s and operated from Suez Street, Warrington Lancashire. By 1984, the company was no longer trading.\nThis set includes a bakelite and steel razor, a branded Wardonia case and a packet of 10 x Kleen unused, still paper wrapped, razor blades that are compatible with this razor.\nAccording to what I can find online, this razor first appeared in the 1930s and was popular throughout the 1940s before it was updated in the late 1940s.\nThe base plate of the razor has the following text:\nWardonia, England, Sheffield, Patent No. 296597.\nThe Kleen blades were made in Sheffield, England by W.R Swann & Co Ltd.\nThe razor and case are in very good condition considering their age.\nThe top cap shows signs of general use.\n.
