As far as straight razors - cut throat razors go, this is just about as good as it gets.\nMade in France by artisan French razor makers the old school way.\n\nMade from Sheffield Silver Steel with real Olivewood Scales, beautifully finished throughout - an absolute joy to use and own.\n\nThe blade is 5/8 wide, it's made from Sheffield C135 'Singing' Steel, fully hollowed with a mirror polish and real 24k gold etch wash.\nThe etch wash illustrates the heads of a wolf and a sheep with text of 'Sheffield Best Silver Steel Guaranteed'.\n\nThe 100% natural Olivewood scales have been expertly polished to a high sheen.\nAs the scales are made from natural wood, expect differences in the colour and grain of each scale.\nComes complete with a Thiers-Issard branded leather razor pouch.\n\nThese razors leave the workshop in a 'shave ready' condition. However the cutting edge of the razor (the fin) may bend over ever so slightly. Stropping will right the fin. This razor should not need honed for at least 9 months if stropped properly. We recommend you watch some YouTube tutorial videos before your strop this razor.\nTo prevent corrosion, after use, you must dry the razor thoroughly and store in a dry environment.
