Peltor G3000 Safety Helmet with Optime 2 Ear Defenders. Helmet conforms to EN397. Protection of 31dB. Conforms to EN352-3. UV stabilised ABS. Low temperature, -30*, and molten metal (although this is a vented helmet and should not be used in a foundry). The G3000 is a helmet that has been designed in close collaboration with industrial and forestry workers. It is meant for use in harsh environments with tough demands for effective protection, excellent ventilation and a maximum field of vision. There is a UV reactive button on the top of the helmet, the Uvicator, that discolours and tells you that the helmet is ready for replacing. The lining can be rotated 180 degrees allowing the helmet to be worn back-to-front which is ideal when working in tight spaces or climbing. The G3000 Peltor safety helmet is designed for use with the Optime helmet attach range of ear defenders that slot straight into the sides of the helmet. Recommended for noise levels of between 94dB(A) and 105dB(A). Ideal for high and medium frequency noise. Suitable for use in environments with substantial industrial noise or construction machinery, airports and agricultural work. Wide, comfortable sealing rings are filled with a unique combination of liquid and foam, which gives optimum sealing and low contact pressure, ensuring the best possible comfort even during long-term use..
