This was done by slightly expanding the blade insertion area and by adding a longitudinal pivot point approximately halfway from the cutting edge of the blade which allows the blade to rock up and down during the shaving process. This 'floating system' delivers a significant increase in the comfort and effectiveness of the shave. An additional benefit is a significant increase in the 'forgiveness' aspect of the razor leading to fewer shaving nicks.\nThe Genesis is only compatible with Feather Splineless Single Edge Blades.
