Some say the Gillette Fatboy is the best safety razor ever made, I can appreciate why they say this, the Fatboy was so well made, it looks good, it benefits from perfect dimensions and weight and being adjustable you can choose the level of aggressiveness which best suits your needs.\nFatboy razors are getting increasingly difficult to source especially ones in good working order.\n\nThis particular razor has been fully restored, it was stripped down, sonically cleaned then replated in shiny nickel. The numbers have been repainted in black enamel and the red indicator button has also been repainted. \n\nStamped 'MADE IN USA F1 Reg US PAT OFF'. F3 is coding, F tells us the razor was made in 1960 and 3 means the razor was made in the third quarter of that year.\n\nThe adjustment mechanism clicks reassuringly into place as it should. The TTO butterfly doors open and close as they did back in 1960. This razor is 100% shave ready.\n.
