The Lindy Fibre Optic DVI-D Dual Link Extender is the most high performance solution on the market for sending DVI-D Dual Link signals, up to 1600p, un-compressed over incredible distances. Using standard LC quad (x1) or duplex (x2) multi-mode (50/125) fibre optic cables to make the long distance connection, the DVI-D Extender provides full support for computer DVI-D Dual Link and HDTV DVI-D signals, analogue audio and RS-232. The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected to both the DVI-D source and display using standard DVI-D cables o f up to 5m.
